To the attention of: The men & pastors of the Common Cup churches.
Our own John Sherer, who is president of the Miami Valley District United Methodist Men, wants you to know of their annual meeting on May 19, 2009 at 6:30pm.
All UM Men and pastors are encouraged to attend the event held at the Sulpher Grove UMC on Taylorsville Rd in Huber Heights.
"This is our annual meeting with election of officers and short business meeting. The program will consist of a video produced by David Murrow on his book "Why Men Hate Going to Church" followed by discussion. This program should be attended by every pastor and at least one man from each church."
Even if you don't plan to run for office, the discussion time following the video should be very interesting. Also, it is worth the trip to Sulpher Grove UMC to see all the excitement going on there.
