The weather this Sunday is predicted to be sunny and 73 degrees.
What a great day to take a Sunday afternoon drive - and what better than to take in the Tour of Historic Churches of the Common Cup!
8 of the 15 churches will hold open house this Sunday (the remaining 7 churches will be open on the following Sunday.)
All the Common Cup churches trace their history well back into the 19th century and each have their very own unique character.
Bellbrook UMC has a wonderful new addition - a good opportunity to see all the new stuff.
Spring Valley UMC has a Faith Wall comprised of family tiles, handmade by the members themselves.
Richland UMC has added a Multi-purpose room which they will be proud to show you.
Sharon UMC has some beautitul windows and a bell with a story.
Some of the earliest settlers in Ohio are buried in Zoar UMC's back yard.
Eleazer UMC has made additions to their sanctuary after merging with Paintersville church.
Lumberton UMC sports some beautiful windows and has more room than it appears from the outside.
Port William UMC is the only Common Cup church which has its roots in the Methodist Protestant church.
If you haven't picked up a map already, you can download a map (giving church location and suggested driving routes) from our website. CLICK HERE.
