A Gift That Keeps On Cooking

Val Zimmerman sent us some information on an opportunity for alternative giving.

This is the missionary project in Guatemala and although Faith Community has been doing some of the heavy lifting, it is truly a Common Cup project.

  The message:
The holidays and the season for gift giving are fast approaching. Some family members/friends have too much stuff already. This year, please consider the "Gift that Keeps on Cooking" in honor of family or friends, or in memory of loved ones.  Please consider blessing our mission project in Guatemala by donating part or all of a cooking stove for one of the many families in need.  Avoid the mall crowds and pick up your donation slips at the stoves in the [Faith Community] narthex or the community center [or print out the form below].  We will supply thank you cards for your convience as a recognition of your gift.  For more information please contact: Betsy Murray, 372-8376; Ginny McColaugh, 376-2660; Val Zimmerman, 513-503-0831.
