The Fall Youth Bazaar opened today (5pm to 8p)  and will be open tomorrow (Saturday from 9am to 5pm). Last Sunday was "Homecoming Sunday" at Spring Valley United Methodist church and a very special day.   With an elevated crowd of 177, there was a lot of back slapping, hugs and smiles! Co-Pastor Sandi Maynard attended to the Praises and Prayers and recognized those who had come from afar. Music was outstanding with the Mixed Quartet singing the old gospel number, On The Jericho Road.

IHN UpdateMany thanks to Bill Turner of Faith Community United Methodist for deep cleaning the Common Cup bedroom at the IHN Family Center.  The room is ready and will receive furniture this week.        IHN (Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greene County) is waiting for county inspections. A Ladies May Day Luncheon will be held at Cedarville United Methodist church at 1pm on May 1st  (two weeks from tomorrow). The featured speaker will be nationally known Dr. Naima Johnston. Last Tuesday (April 06), the Paintersville church building and lot was auctioned off to the highest bidder. The building has been under the care of Eleazer church after the two memberships merged in October 2008. The Common Cup Council has arranged for a Sunday afternoon tour of its member churches. In fact, it will cover two Sunday afternoons to give us plenty of time to visit each of the 15 churches. On Thursday night, March 25th, the Cedarville UMC will hold their annual Ham Dinner.
