Has your Eye Doctor asked you lately, "Are you still driving?". Or do you know someone who has been asked this question?
Becky Cultice wants you to know of 2 upcoming presentations dealing with safe driving for the older generation.
On March 10th at Faith Community UMC, there will 2 presentations -a one hour presentation at 2:30pm entitled, "Adults With Aging Parents" and the second one hour presentation at 4pm entitled "A Safe Drive Through The Aging Process"

Volunteer Food Court Schedules

The Volunteer Worker Food Court Schedules have been completed for the rest of the Food Court year ending on May 8th.
Most workers have already picked up a copy in the kitchen - in case you haven't, they are available on the Common Cup website.

A Birthday Cake For Lee

Last wednesday night, the volunteers back in the kitchen throw a birthday surprise for Lee Jackson to celebrate her 80th birthday.
As they were whooping it up, they realized that no one had a camera to record the momentous event ....  so Evelyn Mash pulled out her iphone (she had no idea how to take photos with it) and started pushing buttons. The results are below.

Card Shower for Lee

The family of Lee Jackson is planning a card shower for her 80th birthday on February 16.
Lee taught 5th grade at Sugarcreek Schools for 22 years.
She and her husband, Don, co-founded Jackson's Farm Market.
She is a member of Eleazer UMC and volunteers as a "salad lady" at Common Cup dinners at Faith Community UMC as well as helping at the local FISH pantry.
Cards may be sent to 3170 Eleazer Rd. Xenia, OH 45385.
Note: One of the Wednesday night volunteers thought this news should be sent to the Wednesday night volunteers ---- We think it should be sent to all the CC subscribers (except Lee Jackson- we're leaving her off)
