Faith Community Annual Garage Sale

The Faith Community United Methodist Men are having their annual garage sale starting today at 6 - 9 PM and Saturday from 9 - 12 noon.

This is always a big event with the Community Room full of bargains.
Last year they had anything from tomato plants to an antique Victrola.
The inside event goes on Rain-or-Shine and with a convenient entrance right off the parking lot.

Miami Valley District UM Men Meeting

The Miami Valley District's United Methodist men are holding one of their principal meetings this next Tuesday, May 24th. It takes place in Sidney which is on the northern edge of the district - but will be well worth the trip.

 The featured speaker will be Dr. Christopher Heckaman, District Superintendent and music provided by the Sidney First UMC Men's Chorus.  (You probably know what a good message Dr Heckaman brings - but the excellant Sidney men's chorus is in its self, worth the trip)

A flyer is attached which promotes the meeting. Please download a copy and post it at your church before Sunday.  Also, you could include the info in your announcements.

Atypical Quilt Show At Bellbrook UM Church

Billed as "This isn't your Grandma's Quilt Show", Bellbrook UMC is presenting a little different slant on the Quilting world.

As part of the 200 year celebration, the church will host a free quilt show and social this coming Saturday from 1pm to 4pm.

Lesa Bame, Award winning Bellbrook Quilter will speak at 2 pm
"Modern Twist to Old Quilting Favorites...If These Quilts Could Talk"

Light Refreshments will be served.

In order to get an idea as to how many to plan for, reservations are suggested.
