This may be an unpleasant time to bring up the Ohio State's Friday night basketball game but we happen to catch one of our local young men on television that night.
Josh Leaming is in his senior year as a cheer leader for both football and basketball. Before going off to college, he was a faithful Sunday School member at Spring Valley UMC. His mother , Shelly Bullen, is the Office manager and Financial secretary at Faith Community UMC.
The photo below catches the stunned OSU cheerleaders (and Josh) minutes after the 2 point loss to Kentucky. One of the players in the foreground (Diebler I believe) is bent over in disbelief.
Josh has had a once in a lifetime experience, being a part of some huge football and basketball seasons including a big Sugar Bowl win this year. I'm sure there are other Common Cup connections with the OSU program ( including Jake Stoneburner, tight end on the football team) but I just happen to catch Josh right there on national television.
