IHN Update
Many thanks to Bill Turner of Faith Community United Methodist for deep cleaning the Common Cup bedroom at the IHN Family Center.
The room is ready and will receive furniture this week.
IHN (Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greene County) is waiting for county inspections.
They hope to open near the beginning of July.
This building process has taken 7 years to complete. The work was completed with 28,000 volunteer hours.
Cheryl Carter (IHN Executive Director) said, "This is a house built by faith all for the glory of God." More updates will come as we get closer to their opening.
Please be in prayer if you would like to serve as a meal provider or overnight host after the family center opens.
Cheryl thanks those who supported the IHN golf fundraiser event. They raised close to $50,000.
Yours in Christ,
Deacon Rick
